Setting a default WebSphere eXtreme Scale definition

You can set a WebSphere eXtreme Scale (eXtreme Scale) definition to be the default definition using the administrative console.

To set an eXtreme Scale definition to be the default, use the administrative console to complete the following steps.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation pane, click Service integration > WebSphere eXtreme Scale definitions. The eXtreme Scale definitions page, showing a list of all the eXtreme Scale definitions, is displayed.

  2. In the Select column, select the check box in the row of the eXtreme Scale definition you want to set as the default.

  3. Click Set as default. The word Yes is displayed in the Default column for the selected eXtreme Scale definition. If another eXtreme Scale definition was previously set to be the default, the word No is displayed in the Default column for that definition.

  4. Click Save to apply your changes to the master configuration.

Results

The selected eXtreme Scale definition is set as the default definition.

You can sort the Default column, so that the default definition appears at the top, or the bottom, of the list.
