First Steps console fails to start on Windows
To run First Steps on Windows 7, Windows Vista, or Windows Server 2008, you must elevate your Microsoft Windows user account privileges by right-clicking the firststeps.bat file and selecting Run as administrator. This is required for both administrative and non-administrative users.
By default, the firststeps.bat file is located in:
profile_root/firststeps/bpmPS/
