Monitor Web applications and servlets


To monitor active Web applications and servlets:

  1. In the left pane of the Administration Console, select Deployments.

  2. In the right pane, click the Web application you want to monitor.

  3. Select Monitoring > Web Application to display monitoring information such as active server count, the number of associated servlets, and session statistics pertaining to the Web application.

  4. (Optional) Click the Refresh icon to refresh the monitoring data.

    The data will refresh regularly until you click the icon again. The icon displays a circular animation to indicate that the Administration Console is periodically polling the server. To adjust the rate at which the Administration Console polls the server, see Configure the monitoring refresh rate.

  5. Select Monitoring > Servlets to display information about the servlets associated with the Web application. (Optional) Click the Refresh icon to refresh the monitoring data.

  6. Select Monitoring > Sessions to display information about the sessions associated with the Web application. (Optional) Click the Refresh icon to refresh the monitoring data.

  7. Select Monitoring > Workload to display information about the work managers, constraints, and policies (if any) associated with the Web application.
