Delete Web applications

Deleting a Web application refers to completely removing it from the domain. Once you delete a Web application from a domain, reinstall it if you want to make it available to WebLogic Server clients. To temporarily make Web applications unavailable to WebLogic Server clients, you can stop them instead of deleting them. See Stop deployed Web applications.

To delete a Web application:

  1. If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).

  2. In the left pane of the Administration Console, select Deployments.

  3. In the right pane, select the check box next to the Web application you want to delete.

  4. Click Delete.

  5. Click Yes to confirm your decision.

  6. To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).
