Delete security realms

Before you begin

Before you delete a security realm, you should make sure that you have created a different security realm and made it the default security realm. See Change the default security realm. Do not delete your current default security realm.

To delete a security realm:

1. If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).

2. In the left pane, select Security Realms.

3. In the Realms table, select the checkbox next to the security realm you want to delete and click Delete.

   A Delete confirmation window appears.

4. Click Yes to confirm the deletion.

5. To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
   Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).
