A SAF error handling resource specifies the action to be taken when the SAF service fails to forward messages to a remote destination.
To configure an error handling resource:
- If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).
- In the Administration Console, navigate to the SAF error handling resource that you want to configure:
- On Configuration tab, update as necessary:
- Policy -- Specify a logging policy.
- Logging Format -- Specify the log format when Policy is set to Log.
- Error Destination -- Specify an error destination when Policy is set to Redirect.

- Save your changes:
- Save Changes to JMS Resources in System Modules
- Save changes to JMS resources in an application module
- To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).After you finish
