Delete queues

Note: Deleting a queue permanently removes it from the JMS module's configuration. If you only want to temporarily stop this queue from receiving messages, un-target it from it's JMS server. For more information, see:

To delete a queue:

  1. If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).

  2. In the Administration Console, expand Services > Messaging and select JMS Modules.

  3. In the JMS Modules table, click the name of JMS module that contains the queue you want to delete.

  4. In the module's Summary of Resources table, select the check box next to the queue that you want to delete.

  5. Click Delete and confirm the deletion.

  6. To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).
