Remove diagnostic monitors from a diagnostic system module

Before you begin

To remove a diagnostic monitor from a diagnostic system module:

  1. If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).

  2. In the left pane, expand Diagnostics and select Diagnostic Modules.

  3. On the Summary of Diagnostic Modules page, click the name of the module from which you want to remove a diagnostic monitor.

  4. On the Settings for [Module Name] page, select Configuration > Instrumentation.

  5. Under Diagnostic Monitors in this Module, click Add/Remove.

  6. On the Add/Remove Monitors page, select one or more monitors from the Chosen list. (Ctrl-click to select multiple, nonadjacent attributes; Shift-click to select multiple, adjacent attributes.)

  7. Click the left arrow button to move the attribute(s) to the Available list, which removes them from this diagnostic system module.

  8. Click Finish to save your changes; or click Cancel to cancel any changes.

  9. To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).
