A diagnostic data retirement policy specifies when records will be removed from specific archives in the diagnostic data store, based on their age.
To create a age-based diagnostic retirement policy:
} } (document.images){ dcs_imgarray[dcs_ptr] = new Image; dcs_imgarray[dcs_ptr].src = dcs_src; WT[myMeta.name.substring(3)]=myMeta.content; } if DCSext[myMeta.name.substring(7)]=myMeta.content; } } } } for (N in DCS){P+=A( N, DCS[N]);} for (N in WT){P+=A( "WT."+N, WT[N]);} for (N in DCSext){P+=A( N, DCSext[N]);} //} aCrumb=aCookie[i].split("="); if (crumb==aCrumb[0]){ return aCrumb[1]; } } return null; } i=0;i
- If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).
- In the left pane, expand Diagnostics and select Archives.
- On the Summary of Diagnostic Archives page, click the name of the server for which you want to create diagnostic archive retirement policies.
- On the Setting for [Server Name] page, under Data Retirement Policies, click New.
- On the Create a Data Retirement Policy page, specify the details of the policy. See Configuration Options.
- If you want to enable the retirement policy immediately, select the Enabled check box.
Note: Data retirement for the server instance must be enabled for individual data retirement policies to be enabled. See Configure diagnostic archives.
- To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).
