Before you begin

Create diagnostic system modules

To configure a diagnostic system module:

  1. If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).

  2. In the left pane, expand Diagnostics and select Diagnostic Modules.

  3. On the Summary of Diagnostic Modules page, click the name of the module whose configuration you want to edit.

  4. On the Settings for [Module Name] page, set configuration options for the module:

  5. To target the module to a server or cluster, select Targets on the Settings for [Module Name] page. For more instructions, see Target and untarget diagnostic system modules .

  6. To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).
