Stop applications and modules

From the Administration Console, you can stop applications and modules that are running. When you stop an application or module, you make it unavailable to WebLogic Server clients until you restart it.

To stop an application or module:

  1. In the left pane of the Administration Console, select Deployments.

  2. In the right pane, select the check boxes next to the names of the deployments you want to stop.

  3. Click Stop and choose to stop the deployments when work completes (When work completes), to force the deployments to stop immediately (Force stop now), or to stop servicing client requests but continue servicing administration requests (Stop, but continue servicing administration requests).
