Change Console preferences

To change the way the Administration Console displays data and locates files:

  1. In the banner toolbar region at the top of the right pane of the Console, click Preferences.

  2. On the User Preferences page, do the following:

    1. If you want the Console to display descriptions of each screen and attribute, select Show Inline Help.

    2. To change the starting location for the WebLogic Server file browser, in the File Browser Start field, enter a path, relative to the WL_HOME for the domain.

    3. Set other Console preferences as you desire.

    4. Click Save.

  3. To set additional preferences, click the Shared Preferences tab.

    Note: To set shared preferences, be in the Admin security role.
