Enable LDAP authentication within the portal server


Use Manage Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Services to configure the portal server for LDAP authentication and Use the Linux or UNIX command line to configure the portal server for LDAP authentication provide the steps required to enable portal server user authentication using an LDAP user registry.

When you are asked to select the LDAP type, select Other and do not supply values for any other LDAP parameters.

After you have finished configuring the portal server to use LDAP, refer to topic Roadmap for setting up the portal server to use an LDAP user registry and single sign-on for additional steps to complete the configuration.
