Specify operating systems

When you define data sources that are not specific to the Windows operating system, specify the operating systems where the data source runs.


By default, the data source provides data on all of the operating systems that are defined at the agent level, see (Operating system requirements), and (Default operating systems). You can change the operating systems for each data source.


Procedure

  1. To open the Operating Systems section, click Operating Systems in the data source Information page when you add a data source.

  2. Select the operating systems on which the data source is to operate. Select individual operating systems, all operating systems, all operating systems of a specific type, or the agent default operating systems, as shown in the example (Figure 1).
