Export data from runs

You can export reports in HTML format for others to view; export an entire run or specific counters to a CSV file for further analysis; or export report metadata (templates) so that other users can generate any custom reports that you have created.

• Create executive summaries
  You can export information from an entire report, or a page on a report, as an executive summary. An executive summary is a document in rich text format (RTF) containing charts and tables and basic information about a test run. You can then open the summary in a word processing program to further format and annotate the data.
• Export reports to HTML format
  You can export an entire report, or a page on a report, to HTML format. You can then email the report or post it on a web server. The exported report can be displayed—and printed—from any browser. To further analyze the data, paste the exported report into a spreadsheet program.
• Export results to a CSV file
  To do further analysis on test results, export all statistics captured during a run or specific statistics to a CSV file.
• Export report counters to a CSV file
  To perform further analysis on test results, export the report counters to a CSV file. You can change the test preferences to export results automatically.
• Export report metadata to a .view file
  To share report metadata with another Eclipse user, export it to a .view file. Use this option to share customized report formats with other users. The recipient imports the metadata with Eclipse's Import option and views the report with the Test Navigator.
