...traditionally you would set up a proxy on a different port that would let this traffic pass through the firewall. However, with the performance and problem analysis tools, this is not supported.
The only workaround is to have the network administrator unblock the required ports, or to move the workbench and agent to the same side of the firewall.
Also, if there is a firewall between two computers in the application system preventing the agents on those computers from communicating, dynamic discovery will not work.
