Customizing screen size when connecting to a TN3270 or TN3270E host
You can customize your screen size when connecting to a TN3270 or TN3270E session. Other types of sessions, such as TN5250 and VT sessions, are not affected by this feature.
To customize screen size when connecting to a TN3270 or TN3270E host, perform the following steps:
Procedure
- Select TN3270 or TN3270E from Terminal Type list.
- Select Custom RowXCol from Screen Size list.
- Select a valid RowXCol from RowXCol field. A valid RowXCol string is comprised of 1-to-3-digit number of rows, optional blanks, the character 'x' or 'X', optional blanks, and a 1-to-3-digit number of columns.
- Specify connection details.
- Click Connect.
