Start Rational Functional Tester

You can start Rational Functional Tester from the desktop environment or a command-line interface.

Procedure

• For Windows : To start the product from the desktop, click Start > Programs > IBM Software Delivery Platform > IBM Rational Functional Tester > Java Scripting or Start > Programs > IBM Software Delivery Platform > IBM Rational Functional Tester > Net 2003 Scripting/.Net 2005 Scripting.

• For Windows: To start Rational Functional Tester Java Scripting from the command line, type:

  <product installation directory>\eclipse.exe -product com.ibm.rational.rft.product.ide

• For Windows: To start Rational Functional Tester .Net 2003 Scripting or .Net 2005 Scripting from the command line, type:

  "<product installation directory>\Common7\IDE\devenv.exe"

• For Linux : To start Rational Functional Tester from the command line, close the terminal from where you installed Rational Functional Tester , start a new terminal and type:

  <product installation directory>\ft_starter
