Limitations for the visual editor for Java

This section outlines any restrictions or limitations related to the visual editor for Java.

• The visual editor for Java requires either the JRE_LIB variable or the default Java JRE container to be set on a project class path in order to work properly. These are default entries that are added for any Java project in the workbench.

• The visual editor for Java provides limited visual support for AWT menus. The visual editor does provide visualization support for JMenus.

• If you are using SINE, set the Aventail software to ignore java.exe in order for the visual editor for Java to work properly.
