  • identifying phases of program execution
  • identifying active threads
  • identifying resource intensive methods
  • studying garbage collection

• Analyzing method execution including
  • identifying memory intensive classes
  • viewinging invocations and callers of a method
  • viewing code coverage

• Determing performance problems such as identifying memory leaks and performance bottlenecks.
