Creating EJB relationships

In UML visualization, you can create inheritance and reference relationships between enterprise beans and relationships between container-managed persistence (CMP) entity beans.

You must have a class diagram that contains enterprise beans open in the diagram editor.

To create a relationship between two enterprise beans:

  1. In the Palette, click an Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) relationship.

  2. Click a client enterprise bean and drag to a supplier enterprise bean

  3. Release the mouse button.

Tip: You can also use the EJB relationship handles in the diagram editor or the EJB Deployment Descriptor to create EJB relationships.
