Edit a Server and Server Configuration
- In the Server Configuration view, open the server used for publishing by double clicking on the server or by right clicking the server and clicking on Open in the list that appears. If no server exists, refer to the Rational Application Developer help system on creating a new server.
- In the Server tab, type the IP address of the target server into the Host address field.
- Click the Ports tab.
- In the HTTP transport list, note that the first defined value in the list will be used to define the URL to which Personalization resources are published. Change this value as necessary (see below).
- If security is enabled on the application server, select the Security tab.
- Select the Enable security check box.
- Type a valid WebSphere Application Server user id in the Server ID field.
- Type the appropriate password in the Server password field and Confirm password field.
- Click the JMS tab.
- Edit the hostname in the Host field.
The default HTTP port value for most Application Server configurations is 9081, but 9080 and 80 are also common.
