Setting resource generation options

On the Resource Generation Options page, you can view or rename the content resource output file names and see a list of the files that will be generated.

1. Select a Source Folder and Package. The package must be within the folder you select for a source folder. The package can be a new or existing package. This is where you will generate Java files. .rul files are generated to the rule folder in your project, and .hrf files are generated to the resource collection folder.

2. You can rename files. Click a file name and click Rename or Rename all.

3. Select Generate a Content Spot for this resource if you want a content spot to be generated.

4. Select Include schema names in the generated Resource Runtime Manager if you want schema names to be included in the queries run by the resource collection. If you are an AS/400 user, do not select this check box.

5. If you select Generate templates for this resource (the box is clicked by default), click Next and continue with the wizard and the following instructions on Template Generation (optional). If you do not want to generate templates for this resource, unclick the Generate templates for this resource box, click Finish to complete the wizard and generate resource files.
