Limitations of path settings in the server editor

There are no path settings for the server in the server editor. If there are specific paths that need to be added to the path environment for the servers to recognize, then set the environment variable before starting the product:

• Add the path settings to the system environment variable PATH.

• Add the path settings to the system environment variable LD_LIBRARY_PATH. For example, the directory /usr/IBMdb2/V7.1/java12 needs to be added to the system environment variable when there are Web applications that use DB2 V7.1 on Linux.

• When running remote servers, add the path settings to the system environment on the remote server. After the path settings are set, restart Agent Controller on the remote server for the changes to take place
