Creating rollover images with templates

You can use the templates from the Template Gallery to create rollover images.

If you prefer not to use the templates, you could also create rollover images with existing image files.

To create rollover images with templates:

1. From the WebArt Gallery tab of the Template Gallery, click the Rollover button. Templates, which consist of an original image and a replacement image, for rollover images are displayed in the Template Gallery. Select one of the templates.

2. Type new text in the Text field if you want to change the text on the graphics.

3. Click Insert to open the Create Rollover dialog.

4. From the Canvas, select one or more objects to be used as the original image.

   Hint: Hold down CTRL or Shift to select multiple objects.

5. Click Select below the Original image preview box. The selected objects are displayed in the Original and Replacement preview boxes.

6. Select one or more objects to be used as the image that replaces the original image. Click Select under the Replacement image display. The selected objects are displayed in the middle box.

7. To preview your complete rollover image, you can place your mouse pointer on the image displayed under Preview. If you want to exchange the original image with the other image, clickSwitch.

8. Click Save Rollover. Specify the position of the image then click Next.

9. Select a file format, and then click Finish.

10. In the Save Rollover Image Files dialog, specify the location and the names of the Original, Replacement, and HTML files that compose your rollover image. Click Save.
