Drawing Web diagrams for existing applications
You can create a Web diagram for an existing Web application.
The Web diagram must exist in a dynamic Web project.
To create a Web diagram, complete the following steps:
- Create an empty Web diagram.
- In the Project Navigator, right-click the name of a project.
- Select New > Other > Web > Web Diagram.
- Click Next.
- Type the name of the file, for example, diagram, and click Finish.
- Create nodes for one or more of the files that are in the application for which you want a Web diagram. For example, create a Web page named index.jsp.
- Right-click the node and select Draw and then one of the following options:
Option Description Draw Draws a Web diagram for the entire application Draw All From Draws all nodes that are directly connected to the starting node and draws the connections Draw Selected Draws all nodes that are directly connected to the selected nodes and draws the connections - If you chose Draw All From or Draw Selected in the previous step, repeat that step until you have drawn as much of the application as you want to draw.
