Stored Procedure and User-defined function preferences

Use the Preferences window in the workbench to set preferences for stored procedures and user-defined functions.

In the Preferences window, you can set options for stored procedures and user-defined function development. When you set default settings in the Preferences window, the settings might be used as follows:

• They can be shown as the defaults in wizards and windows that use them. You can override defaults in a situation where the defaults do not apply.

• They can affect build behavior in the workbench. For example, in the Process node, you can specify whether to automatically rebuild before running or whether to trace errors. In cases like these, the behavior can only be controlled from the Preferences window.
