Removing security role "run as" bindings

A security role is a logical grouping of principals. Access to operations (such as EJB methods) is controlled by granting access to a role. You can grant access to users individually or in groups. For additional information about security roles, see the WebSphere Application Server documentation.

To remove security role run as bindings settings:

1. Switch to the J2EE perspective.

2. In the Project Explorer view, select the desired project.

3. Select Open With > Deployment Descriptor Editor from the pop-up menu.

4. On the Security page of the editor, select to the Security Role Run as Bindings section.

5. Select the role for which you want to remove the binding.

6. Select the binding you want to delete, and click Remove.
