Specifying a different location for the SQLJ translator and main class
Once you have used the view to configure your application to use SQLJ, the default values for the location of the SQLJ translator and main class appear in the Properties view. But, you can change their locations if you want to. You will need to do this if you have moved files around: you need to make sure the paths are correct.
Attention: It is recommended that you do not change the default location of the SQLJ translator and the main class in the first place. Follow these steps to change the locations of the translator and the main class:
- In the Project Navigator view, expand your EJB project to the \META-INF\backends directory.
- Open the Map.mapxmi file for the DB2 backend you are using. The Mapping editor opens.
- In the Enterprise Beans section, select the EJB module.
- In the Properties view, select Translator JAR file in the Properties column.
- In the corresponding Value column, type the location of the translator JAR file, for example, D:/DB2_install/java/sqlj.zip.
- In the Properties column, select Translator main class.
- In the corresponding Value column, type the main class, for example, sqlj.tools.Sqlj.
- Save your changes.
