Use the Detail Pane

When you are viewing a variable in the Variables view, the Detail Pane is on by default.

If the variable value that you are viewing in the Detail Pane is too long to display properly, you can set the Detail Pane to display a wrapped view of the value. In addition, the Detail Pane will display rulers that indicate the position of each character in the variable value. To add this offset information, do the following:

1. Right-click on the variable whose value you want displayed in an offset information view of the Detail Pane.

2. Select Toggle Detail Pane Scale from the pop-up menu.

3. The Detail Pane displays a scaled view of the variable value in the Detail Pane.

To remove offset information from the Detail Pane, right-click inside the Variables view and select Toggle Detail Pane Scale from the pop-up menu.
