Export a Routine wizard

Use the Export a Routine wizard to export stored procedures or user-defined functions to a script file for later deployment. You can save the export script in a project, or you can save the script to the local file system. If you export to the file system, you can also choose to create a ZIP file that includes all associated export files.

The Export a Routine wizard creates an SQL or XML script file , depending on the routine type and target database server. The wizard can also create a ZIP file if you specify this option. You can then use this export script file to deploy the routine to another database.
