Configure a web content staging environment
Configure the staging environment to emulate the web content delivery environment and allow for testing before deployment.
Manage staging environment options in the WCM WCMConfigService service.
- If the staging server is to be used purely as a holding server where changes to the site are accumulated prior to syndicating these changes to a delivery environment, then you may only need to review the syndication settings of the staging server. In most cases we would ensure that automatic syndication is disabled.
- If we are using the staging environment for user acceptance testing prior to syndicating to a delivery environment then you will need to ensure that all other settings configured on the staging server match those set on the delivery server.
