Customize the site toolbar
The site toolbar can be customized in order to provide flexibility and enhance the user experience. The site toolbar shows a row of tabs that display actions for editing pages. The tabs are controlled by the Enabler ContextMenu API. The JSON configuration file for the toolbar can be found on WebDAV at \fs-type1\themes\Portal8.0\menuDefinitions\shelfActions.json.
The feethat displays all portlets is cached after being viewed. If you deploy a portlet after viewing the portlets on the toolbar, the newly deployed portlet will not be visible until the cache expires, which is one hour, or you look up the portlet in Manage Portlets and then go back to the toolbar.
