Content libraries for sites created with Site Builder
When creating a site, all files needed to present the site are stored in the content library selected on the Content Library page. Which content library we can choose depends on how the site template was created.
If the site template uses the existing portal content library, use that library too. If we have a choice of libraries, keep the following points in mind:
- The existing portal content library, Portal Site, stores all managed pages created with IBM Web Content Manager. If we select this option, the website content is stored in a library shared with many other sites.
- Deciding between creating a content library or selecting an existing one for a site template depends on how the organization manages content. Website administrators may have a preference about whether you keep your content separate or store it in a library with other similar content.
