Making Site Builder visible

If we chose to create a Site Builder page during installation, we already have a page named site.Builder. Otherwise, before beginning these steps, create a page named site.Builder. To allow all authenticated users or specific users to see the Site Builder page and portlet when they log on to IBM WebSphere Portal.

  1. Log in to the portal as an administrator.

  2. From the administration menu, click...

      Portal User Interface | Manage Pages | Content Root | Applications

  3. Click the "Set Page Permission" icon next to the page named site.Builder.

  4. For the User role, click the Edit Role icon.

  5. Add All Authenticated Portal Users or, for more selective access, add specific users. Click OK.

  6. Click Site Builder.

  7. Click Apply and Done.

  8. From the Administration page, click...

      Portlet Management | Portlets | Site Builder portlet

    The unique name is wp.ctc.nswiz.app.Site Builder. Click the Assign access to portlet icon.

  9. For the User role, click the Edit Role icon.

  10. Add All Authenticated Portal Users or, for more selective access, add specific users. Click OK.

  11. Click OK.

  12. Click Site Builder.

  13. Click Apply and Done.
