Delete the user registry configurations
After you deploy IBM WebSphere Portal, we might not require some of the LDAP entity types, realms, realm base entries, or repositories created. We can delete these configurations to achieve the correct user registry configuration. Choose from the following tasks to delete the user registry configurations:
- Delete the LDAP entity type
If we changed the LDAP user registry and no longer require an entity type, we can delete it.
- Delete the base entry
If we changed the LDAP user registry and no longer require a base entry, we can delete it.
- Delete the LDAP group member
If we changed the LDAP user registry and no longer require the group member, we can delete it from the LDAP user registry.
- Delete the realm
If we changed the portal, and no longer require a realm, we can delete it from the user registry.
- Delete the realm base entry
If we changed the realm and no longer require the base entry for that realm, we can delete it.
- Delete the repository
If we no longer require the use of a repository within your federated repository, we can delete it from the configuration.
