Customize security constraints

We can relax or strengthen the access controls on the editor and import features. If we have a non-standard Portal security configuration must perform manual administration steps to map the Script Portlet Authors and Script Portlet Users roles to the appropriate Portal groups in their environment.

The Script Portlet Authors and Script Portlet Users roles can be mapped to users, groups or special subjects in Portal.

1. In the Integrated Solutions Console, click Applications > Application Types > WebSphere enterprise apllications.

2. Click scriptportlet in the list of applications.

3. In the Detail Properties menu, click Security role to user/group mapping.

4. Select the Script Portlet role. Then, click the Map Users, Map Groups, or Map Special Subjects button to assign users.

5. Click OK. Then, click Save to save the changes to the master configuration.

6. On the Map Groups page, use the search feature to find the group. Use the arrows to assign the groups.. Click OK.
