Use Virtual Member Manager tracing files


To enable Virtual Member Manager trace output...

  1. Log on to the WAS admin console and go select...

      Troubleshooting | Logs and Traces | WebSphere_Portal | Diagnostic Trace | Trace Output | File radio button

  2. Go to...

      Additional Properties | Change Log Detail Levels

    ...and set...

      com.ibm.ws.security.*=all:com.ibm.websphere.wim.*=all:com.ibm.wsspi.wim.*=all:com.ibm.ws.wim.*=all

  3. Click OK and save the changes to the master configuration.

  4. Restart WebSphere Portal.

Virtual Member Manager traces will henceforth be written to...
