Create a copy of the theme

Overview

Create our own custom theme by copying the Portal 8.0 theme before you start customization. Creating a copy of the theme ensures that the theme has all the required elements for the theme to function and changes will not be overwritten by a fixpack.

Do not modify the Portal 8.0 theme directly, because this theme can be updated by service fix packs and override the changes.

Create copy of theme

1. Copy the static resources for the theme
2. Copy the static resources for the skin
3. Copy the dynamic resources for the theme
4. Link the static resources to the dynamic resources for the theme
5. Make the custom skin the default skin
