Create static content

Static content is part of every web site. In a portal site, static content can be rendered as static page or it can be added to specific content areas on the portal page. Learn the differences between static and dynamic content, such as when to use one or the other and benefits of each.   WebSphere Portal allows us to create pages with portal content using static HTML or other markup.
• Including static content pages in the portal
  We can create a new portal page by starting with a static HTML file or an HTML fragment. If you revise the HTML, we can refresh the page to render the changes in the portal. To include, update, and administer the static content pages, we can use any of the portal administration tools, Manage Pages portlet, xmlaccess.sh, or the Portal Scripting Interface.

  WebDAV for IBM WebSphere Portal provides a way to administer portal resources. Both administrators and users can use it.
