Configure search in a cluster on Solaris
IBM WebSphere Portal provides two distinct search capabilities. We can use both types of search capabilities in a clustered environment.
- Prerequisites
- Prepare the Solaris operating system in a clustered environment
- Prepare the primary node on Solaris
- Create and augment a new dmgr profile on Solaris
- Solaris cluster: Tune the servers
- Configure Portal Search in a cluster on Solaris
To support Portal Search in a clustered environment, install and configure search for remote search service on an IBM WAS node that is not part of the IBM WebSphere Portal cluster.- Configure JCR search in a cluster on Solaris
To enable search in a cluster for content stored in the JCR database, configure each server in the cluster to access a shared directory. JCR-based content includes content created with Web Content Manager or Personalization.
