IBM i cluster: Prepare user registries

Install and set up an LDAP server as a user registry to store user information and authenticate users in your clustered environment.

Prerequisites

Prepare the IBM i operating system in a clustered environment

Prepare the primary node on IBM i

Create and augment a new dmgr profile on IBM i

Choose the appropriate LDAP server to install and set up:

• IBM i cluster: Prepare a Tivoli Directory Server for IBM i
  To use a Tivoli Directory Server as an LDAP user registry, install and set up the server so that it communicates with IBM WebSphere Portal.
