Prepare the IBM i operating system in a stand-alone environment

Review System prerequisites

You need the following information to install locally:

• IBM i CD-ROM drive
• The IBM i server must be in an unrestricted state
• A valid IBM i user ID and password
• A user profile with a user type (user class) of *SECOFR (other than QSECOFR)
