Delete a profile on IBM i

If your business needs change, we can delete a profile from the profile that you created.

To delete a profile:

1. Stop all server instances in the profile to delete.

2. Run the manageprofiles -delete -profileName profilename task from the WAS_HOME/bin directory, where profilename is the name of the profile that we are deleting.

   Deleting a profile takes several minutes to complete.

3. Delete the profile directory because it contains file that the manageprofiles.sh cannot delete, such as extraneous log files.
