Solaris clustered server: Set up IBM DB2 for i databases automatically
This section provides information on using a ConfigEngine task to create and setup IBM DB2 for i databases and users.
Before you begin, ensure that the following prerequisites are met:
- The database management system software is installed.

Solaris clustered server: Create DB2 for IBM i user profilesThe following steps are the same for root and non-root users, except that the create-database task cannot be run by a non-root user.
- Change to the directory WP_PROFILE/ConfigEngine
- To create the databases, type the following command:
./ConfigEngine.sh create-database -DWasPassword=foo
