Migrate the Search and Browse portlet from V6.1

To ensure that the Search and Browse portlet works as expected, verify that the CollectionLocation parameter reflects the correct path for the new portal installation.

Complete the following steps:

  1. In the product banner, click Administration, then under Portlet Management, click Portlets.

  2. Locate the Search and Browse portlet and then click the Configure icon.

  3. Verify the location of the search collection in the new portal installation and update CollectionLocation as needed.

  4. If the portal environment uses a remote search server, verify that either Soap_URL or IIO_URL is set to the correct value.

  5. Save changes.

  6. Restart the portal.

  7. Perform this procedure for all instances of the Search and Browse portlet that you deployed in the portal.
