Delete a policy

Delete a policy to permanently remove the policy and all of its child policies.

You can delete a policy using the menu of a child policy.

To delete a policy:

1. From the menu of a child policy, click Delete Policy.

2. Click OK to delete the policy and its children; otherwise, click Cancel.

To restore the policy, you can import the policy definition if it still exists. Or, you can re-create the policy by clicking New Policy in the Policy Types view of the Resource Policies portlet.
