Create a virtual portal
Perform this task during configuration to create a virtual portal.
Before you begin ensure that you have completed any previous configuration steps. Read Usage scenarios for virtual portals for information about planning the business needs of virtual portals before running this task.
Create a virtual portal:
- Start the Customization Dialog.
- In the Portal configuration panel, select Advanced configuration tasks.
- Select Configure a virtual portal.
- Select Create a virtual portal.
- Select Define variables.
- Define the variables for the task.

- Follow the Customization Dialog instructions for submitting the customization jobs.
