Configure Lotus Sametime to trust all servers
In a test or development environment, you can set the LotusSametimeserver to trust all servers. Lotus Sametime accepts the IP addresses of all other servers as trusted. You can also configure the Lotus Sametime to trust all servers until you have the full environment setup. After you have everything working, you can modify the trust configuration to make it more secure.
- Open a text editor on the Sametime server.
- Open the Sametime.ini file.
- Add the following line to the Debug section:
[Debug] VPS_BYPASS_TRUSTED_IPS=1
- Save and close the Sametime.ini file.
- Restart the Sametime server.
