Assign user access to policies
Assign user access to work with a policy by assigning and editing user roles.
From the menu of a policy, select Assign User Access to Policy.
To assign user access to a policy, you assign roles using the Resource Permissions portlet. A role determines the permissions that users in the role have for working with the policy.
Roles can be explicitly assigned to users; implicitly assigned to users by their membership in a group; or inherited from the parent policy, if the policy is a child policy.
Follow the steps in the Roles Help topic of the Resource Permissions portlet to assign and edit user roles for the policy.
